First topic message reminder :

Found this ZX-12 at the following QLD dealer:
Top Gun Yamaha

Location
Bundamba, QLD

Tyre Kicking (Again!) - Page 8 Bd478410

http://www.bikepoint.com.au/all-bikes/dealer/details.aspx?R=12039026&ref=Item&Nne=&N=&Ns=

Of course it looks ok in the photo - but the cheap price has me wondering. If it was ok, my daughter might be interested.

Anyone had anything to do with this dealership?

Late edit, thanks to 2WA:
I don't think this has been posted before but for those amongst us who are thinking (dreaming) about adding to the fleet this website might help you decide if the bike is rideable all day or just a lap to the café. Click >>> Cycle Ergo

This shows the height against the "little" Firestorm. There's not much in it and they feel very similar in the seat/bars/pegs.

If money was no objective to me, I`d be getting one of these,  http://motorcycles.axlegeeks.com/l/1648/2014-BMW-K-1600-GTL

I`ve watched lots of youtube clips on these things, and I want one.

It is, in my opinion, the ultimate sports tourer.

You'd need a hefty wallet to run that machine, but it would be smooth as silk with the big straight 6.  You'd need hefty biceps too if you dropped it - 320+ kg dry! Crying or Very sad

Sorry, been a while, still around, still have the FA in the shed gathering dust, but I've joined Chris insomuch as having a VFR, 6 weeks now (1200f from new) and 1800 kms now on the clock, heli bars and a givi, that's it, very different  to the Suzuki.  No where near the torque under 3K, but let it go beyond 5, :-).  I used the opportunity of being close to some hills to run her in, with some weight on the back (sorry honey...) and while it's not taken 30 yrs off my riding life,  absolutely enjoying it!  Looked at the FJR and GTR, but I'm not ready for them yet, I commute a lot,  plus quite a bit of open road / twisting (where you can find the bar5tard5 from Sunbury) really enjoying the engine and chassis... Most importantly,  it's still two wheels.... Damn it s been a long winter...

Nice Corbin seat but silver panniers & top box?
Price is about right especially if it's had the ECU flash to bring it up to 2013/15 spec

Ta mate. Hmm, lucky I'm only tyre kicking or I'd be obliged to go and have a look at it. I'd have to respray the panniers - the silver looks odd with the red tank.

I should be out riding today as the weather is magnificent - but we are doing clean-ups and fix-ups for (a) the AFL Grand Final BBQ and party, and (b) the house-sitter who will be looking after the place whilst we go caravanning for 2 weeks.

Perhaps a sticky for handy sites might be the way to go instead of searching the forum , as some of them are buried in other unrelated or obscurely related  threads

I sould think 2WA means he had a bit of an idea he had seen it before , ....................but .............if you take one of  the Urban dictionaries meanings Dave , it would suggest you may know a little more about the subject than you let on lol!  ( you're not overly sensitive or a virgin are you Dave ? Wink   Laughing  )

inkling
When a man accidentally ejaculates a little bit in his pants. It often occurs without significant reason or warning, and the man is aware enough to hold his load in after the inkling has come out. Overly sensitive men and pasty virgins are particularly prone to inklings, especially when they have a hunch. It is somewhat similar to a shart or a light tinkle from laughter or an amusement park ride, except with jizz instead of poop or urine, respectively.  Embarassed

I just had another look for it and it seems we do have a site called " links forum " in product review for this stuff.........  perhaps handy or helpful sites & good products or similar may be more explanatory & maybe under general discussion more than product review. .........and before someone spots it , yes I see I also posted the same ERGO site as well  Embarassed Laughing
