I had one and hated it but every one else loves em .

Here's a good looking TL1000S for sale at a good price ($4,300). Check out how surgically clean the garage is - it must be brand new. Shame I just spent my cash on the TRX or I might have bought this. Definitely worth a look.

That's a great buy if the mechs'are all good.

It's no longer coming up so I presume it was sold. Oh well, keep tyre kicking!

These GB400 Honda's are starting to grow on me! Maybe I'll buy one for the missus. I don't believe they were ever sold through Honda in Australia but they would now qualify for club rego (I think).

I toyed with getting the GB500TT and fitting the GB400TT dual seat. I love singles.

It appears to be quite a bargain (the half a pic of the windscreen price sticker suggests it is between $3500 and $3599, which is cheap, especially from a dealer. BUT, the car history report will not recognise the rego number - I have no idea if that means there is a problem or whether there are legitimate reasons for it. Or isn't that on-line checking thing reliable? Any ideas?

Just sent you a MMS screen shot of reg details.

I rang the dealer - the VIN number in the ad is incorrect (the "VX" should be "BX"). Also, I magnified the pic of the front screen. I now think it reads:

SV1000S
$35 per week
$500 deposit
5,990

I have put in a bid but I wouldn't pay $5990 - there are others on Bikepoint that compare favourably, although the eBay one does have low kays and excellent condition. They do arrange transport too if required (not mentioned in the ad). Could still be a good buy depending what reserve they have on it.
