Bandit meet 6-8 March 2015 Parkes NSW

First topic message reminder :

Ok, here's my thoughts on a Bandit meet up for 2015.

As per the topic title, Parkes is the meeting place. The time is March 6-8 2015. The Coachman Hotel/Motel is where we have booked in to stay.
I'm thinking of a 180 odd km ride on the Saturday that encompasses Manildra, Cudal, Eugowra, Forbes & back to Parkes.
JTB has also suggested a ride out to Temora as there is a aviation show on at the Temora airfield. (I hope I got that right)   

Anyone interested in this?

I'd get rid of the gsx1250. The guys with every other model will be sad that their bike isn't listed. Lets face it the gsx isn't a Bandit anyway

Just get rid of the "FA" bit - it's unnecessary detail and doesn't appear at the top of the formum page (and non-one has complained about that).

Remember fokes this is Chook's design, I've just messed around with some paintshop mods to show an example of what it would look like, final font sizing etc will allow a much better/tighter image.  Don't worry that the FA makes the top line look too long or anything like that, it will be sorted in the final version.

I think there are enough GSX members that their logo should be included.  As for other bikes, and I don't mean to be rude or dismissive of anyone - some of these members are our most supportive and active contributors to both the forum and in arranging rides and meets - the numbers of their unique bike type do not warrant inclusion (in the main title).  I hope this doesn't stir up too much trouble and if there is an overwhelming difference of opinion I'll gladly accept the majority view.

So, whilst I'm on the topic of stirring things up, as for the "FA" letters, even though I don't own a GSX I think the FA shoud stay.  All articles and Suzuki artwork I've seen relating to this logo includes the FA.  If we are going to use OEM logos they should be the correct design, i.e. Suzuki with the big S, Bandit in the script font, and GSX with the FA.  I know we don't have it in the Forum title, but we also don't use the Bandit or GSX logo in the title either.    

And one last house-keeping thing that will need to be finalised for the design, the direction lines.  We will need to have a cutoff date so the artwork can be finalised and the shirts printed.  Anyone that's coming and wants a line from their home area (red I believe we have decided on ?)  will need to inform Chook so it can be included.  Unfortunely late comers will need to bring their own red texta.

Would there be any chance of you somehow incorporating some titties in ver 06 Barry?

I too agree with everything that has been said.  Can I have a line that goes off the coast of Brissy ?

Shouldn't that read "National Forum Piss Up"

I haven't arranged anything yet but the company we have had do some footy T's before does screen printing

Do they need particular file formats? ie: Vector image files?

As for the design I reckon we can play around a bit yet to make sure the writing covers everything without looking too clutered, but I am realy keen on keeping all of the start locations with the lines to Parkes

You may want to talk to the printers to see if red (or other colours) will go onto the black T-shirt ok, and also how fine the font/lines can be. It will give you a guide to work with.
