Bandit meet 6-8 March 2015 Parkes NSW

Ok, here's my thoughts on a Bandit meet up for 2015.

As per the topic title, Parkes is the meeting place. The time is March 6-8 2015. The Coachman Hotel/Motel is where we have booked in to stay.
I'm thinking of a 180 odd km ride on the Saturday that encompasses Manildra, Cudal, Eugowra, Forbes & back to Parkes.
JTB has also suggested a ride out to Temora as there is a aviation show on at the Temora airfield. (I hope I got that right)   

Anyone interested in this?

Whereever for me too, if I can get the time off. Being as I'm planning an IOM trip next year that might consume most of my holidays.

How about the Suzuki Bandit Forum goes to the IOM en masse

I have done a bit of homework on the people that traveled to Drake, & where they are from.
If Banditdave is interested in a meet up with the SA members, (& the regulars) I have a choice of 3 places within 30 km travel for BD, & the SA guys.
Tottenham NSW, 1160km from BD, 1190 from Adelaide. Tottenham is 47km from the Geographical centre of NSW.
Peak Hill NSW, 1120km from BD, 1100km from Adelaide. Not far from Parkes telescope.
Yeovil NSW, small town between Orange & Dubbo, (one pub town)  

If the SA members are not interested, Qld & VIC meeting places could be the following.
Binnaway NSW, 928km from BD, 990km from MM in Melbourne. (Both these fellas went to Drake) oh, one pub town   
Coolah NSW, 979km from BD, 1010km from MM. From here we could do a ride to Siding Springs Observatory.
I'm thinking late March, I can't leave home till the 20th, my missus birthday is the 19th. I'll check out when Easter is next year, so as we can avoid the stupid holiday traffic.
Anyone interested in this?

I reckon somewhere in the middle of NSW is a top idea.

Actually, if anyone was keen on a get together later this year (2014) I would be keen.

Sounds like a ride for a high powered, fast and reliable, silver bullit.  Mmmmmmm.

If MM included RedDog in his "central meeting point" I think that puts us at Giles. Never been there (a friend of mine has) and I understand there is not a lot to do except build sand  castles.

It doesn't even show up on Google Maps but is at the junction of Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory.

The other choice would be Lake Gairdner SA where we could do Blackbird time trials.
