Not a bad look for a old, cut down, dented stainless muffler.

Is there no stopping Gus and his amazing carbon? My chromed airfilter sidecovers had the Gus treatment. They look so good. Great job mate.

Gus,
What are your thoughts on 3M DiNoc Carbon Fiber Vinyl?
I've got some soft areas like heel guards I'd like to cover. I was told that the hard 'real' Carbon Fibre heel guards tend to be brittle and I know of one guys who's have chipped on the edges. I value your thoughts.
I watched a couple of YouTube videos - in one they covered a Mini, in another they did a helmet. It looked impressive. Nowhere near as nice as your work though

Don't know the 3m stuff .There are more holes than metal in the heal guards .At first i painted mine black and it never wore through .
Hard to get a good shot of the carbon sprocket cover isn't it .Being so shinny it gets distorted.

That's it. I'm more than happy with the Bandit the way it is. If I wasn't I wouldn't have bought it. If I wanted a bike with more power, better brakes, better suspension etc, I would have bought a bike with more power, better brakes, better suspension etc.
When the time comes to start spending money on the bike to 'freshen' it up, I'll probably just replace the entire bike.
And herein lies my theory 100% Obviously your theory has now changed, or your idea of freshen up does not include 'carbon covered bits' lol

What most people don't realise is that everything can be improved with Carbon Fibre.
Here we see Gus modelling his latest improvement to the "STOP" sign at work.

Poor Gus!. Looks like he's rubbed the left side of his head along the road too many times. Very clever though. Well done.

Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
Ever since Full Throttle asked me about carbon on air box ends i have been looking at mine .You only see a small amount but the effort
to remove the air box and refit turned me off the idea .Since it is made of the plastic that doesn't stick well to glass i decided to use it as a mold
since the carbon doesn't stick to it .I lay ed 2 layers of carbon over it ,popped it off ,trimmed and polished it. The idea is to just stick it on if it looks o.k .
Inside
Outside
Ran out of daylight for a fitted shot .
