The CF clothe certainly moulds around the angles nicely. The two pics look different colours. Is that just the light playing tricks with the CF ?

Might be good for tiny bits but look how much Epoxy you get .Not enough to do a chain guard .I dont use Epoxy, does a good job but expensive
and takes a day to dry against 30 mins with resin (not as strong though )
If you want lightness and strength Epoxy is the go .If it not essential go resin .

Winter means the trail bike gets out a hell of a lot more
I find I am falling off a lot less these days on it too which is a good thing.
Nice work btw Gus.

I found I don't bounce as well as I did when I was younger , so I tend to stick to the road these days LOL

Yes, I find that the older we get we tend to stay upright. I think maybe it's the prospect of broken bones that prevents us from coming off

Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
Hahaha... last outing on the DRZ I only crashed once and that was very slowly
We had a huge storm here and riding on tracks we had done a few weeks prior was interesting with so many gum trees having fallen over. We must have done 100+ log crossings in less than 100kms of riding over 3 hours. The hard pack clay had also gotten water logged, so it was extremely trecherous. Still a very fun outing, took me ages to wash the bike, I must make sure to coat it in Wd40 before I head out next time.

Gus have you thought about CF-ing helmets? I read through the history and didn't see them mentioned anywhere
