Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
I made the trip up to see Gus and his lovely Partner who's name escapes me at present - my sincere apologies Mate - to have my airbox "carbonised".
The hospitality shown to me was second to none. I have only met Gus once before but I was welcomed like I have known him for ages.
He is a truly resourceful person. As you can see from the attached picture it turned out really well. I need to do some more buffing to it once the resin hardens completely but yeah it looks trick! Thanks Gus. King of Karbon. (the black bit at the bottom of the airbox is an optical illusion, looks black but there is the signature carbon weave throughout it.)

I've said it before and i'll say it again Gus, your on a winner with your CARBONISING. All the parts look great. Have you thought about advertising on other bike forums. I'm sure you will find some more carbon addicts there. Keep up the good work.

Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
Since the carbon front guard on my bike didn't match the carbon on the rest of the bike (different weave ). I ended up buying another guard on
E-Bay (a grey one ) and carbonized that one, front and back . The idea is to re-do mine and put it back on E-Bay or do a change over if anyone
wants a carbon one .The beauty is i don't care if yours is scratched .$120 plus postage if any takers .
Here is my new one ,needs another polish tomorrow .

Gus,
Could you give me a price on a carbon look rear wheel cover?
I saw one on a post, or in my dreams.

Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
Remember i only cover your hugger i dont make the whole thing . To cover one about $50 but you could probably buy one with a carbon look .
Doesnt look as good but may work out cheaper buy the time you add freight costs to me and back Unless you live in QLD .

Im very happy with my Pyramid Plastics hugger and the service I got from the Aust distributer.
The freight from the UK is a killer at the moment. Mine was $150 (black) landed in 5 days. I think CF was + $20
Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
Powerbronze also have an Aust. distributor & do one as well . If you ask for it , you can get bandit forum 10% discount as well
