Gus, how thick is the wrap when it is finished?
Your workmanship from the pictures looks first class IMO.

Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
Ive never been really happy with the finish of my Solo seat . I painted it in wrinkle finish but it attracted dirt . I covered it in the original vinyl
but it looked stock .I could have brought a seat cowl but wasn't convinced on that look either and as I've just gone back to work, there is the
$ factor .I've got the carbon thing going on so i decided to give that a go .Not to sure about the shinny finish ,maybe a matt finish might be better .

While I appreciate the workmanship and effort, I think it looks a little ken and barbie like.
I wonder if it would look nicer flowing more from the rear section and in the same colour pink

Sprayed the carbon solo cowl with clear finish with a flattening agent so its a "flat CLEAR "

Gus would engine cases get to hot for your brew?
And I'm also thinking about the counter sprocket cover. What do you think?

Here's mine. Please excuse the dirty radiator. It's the first time I have taken the Warpspeed radiator guard off in 4 years.
Thanks Gus

Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
. $25 a side so unless your putting the bike on the wall $50 I'll get a piece of the gold and post a pic Wed. night .
Gold, black all the same $ .Did see some black with a blue pine line which made me look twice .
Hammy i had some of those before and they looked more plastic than carbon .Not hard as they WERE plastic .
Are you putting the rad- guard back on under the carbon end caps Reddog
4WA
I carnt see heat being a problem, headers way too hot ,but every thing else only get hot ,not f+*# thats hot .
I have looked at my end can and sprocket cover but the covers shape scared me at first .I worked out a way to save myself a lot of time so i might have
another look .

I'm happy to try to find a wrecked cover and send up if you like.
You would cover the shift pattern I guess?
I'm thinking curcular centers of covers only. Is that do able or does it need to be the whole piece?
Re: Carbon bits by Gus .
Engine covers are not do-able (well not by me ) .
The sprocket cover is fine though .No need for a test run .(trust me )
These are on the kitchen table curring .Fine sand and polish Monday .Lets see if someone says "THEIR MINE " (yes i'm quick )

Yes mate the rad guard will be going back on under the carbon end caps. Here in the south west of west oz holed radiators are a pretty common occurrence

They look great Gus, speed and perfection, great combo.
I don't have a photo of mine with the R77 Yoshi - grabbed this of the net:
A carbon fibre hugger would look great as well however with the 205/45ZR17 car tyre I can't fit one.
Can't wait to get it all back together, PM me with the final price and postage,
Regards
Barry

Sprocket cover looks sensational given the angles you had to work with.
Any chance of a shot on the bike?
Your chain just reminded me its time to clean mine
