First topic message reminder :

Well ,maybe not the wheel ,but how about the left switch -block .To me its all wrong, and here is why . Have a look at this picture .

Reinventing the wheel . - Page 2 IMG_2966

What is the most used switch on the block ? Blinkers , right .So that should be on the BOTTOM closest to your thumb .
The HORN should be where the yellow flash button is so you index finger would be able to find it easily because you dont need to use the tip of it .
The high beam rocker switch is right at the top ,a long ,long way from the operaters thumb .That should be where the horn now is .

Not only is the Suzuki block turned up to high so everything is a "reach " but you can not twist it down because it hits the lever . Evil or Very Mad

Over all the hole thing is a design disaster if you ask me .

Actually the number of buttons on the Suzuki and Aprilia are the same .The Aprilia has a lap timer but in 6 years i've never been able to work
out how to use it (not alone apparently )
I should buy another Aprilia one to replace the Suzuki one .
I rode the Tuono the other day to get solo rego .Country town ,traffic lights .Stop ,start .What a cantankerous pig .

I wonder if Mr Suzi has placed the switches in an order of importance. I know it is more important to have indicators than a horn, but, in an emergency situation you would like to hit the horn as quickly as you can. You tend to think about making an indicator signal a little more. Just a thought. While on this subject. Have you ever ridden an old British, ie, BSA with the gear shift and brake on opposite sides. Now theres some serious fun.

not only did my first bike ( jawa ) have the gear lever on the other side , the lever also pushed in & rotated back to become the kick start lever as well ! Shocked
