Bandit front wheel.
Hi there,
While replacing my tyres I discovered a flat spot in my front wheel, probably caused from a large pothole I hit a couple of weeks ago.
Was wandering if there were other model suzuki front wheels that are the same as the GSF1250 k9, Just to widen my second hand options.
To have mine repaired will cost about $300.

I have the same problem (posted elsewhere). I was quoted "around $150" to have it re-rolled. TJ Tyres in Canberra sends them to Sydney to have the actual work done. I haven't found a local option as yet.

Re: Bandit front wheel.
Just done a quick ring around some wreckers and found 1 in Sydney and 1 in melbourne, both asking $350 + postage.
We have a guy here in Wollongong that repairs wheels, when I spoke to him he said he needed to use heat to
str8ten the wheel. Then it had to be resprayed.
have you seen the price for a new one.

Re: Bandit front wheel.
My RF900R had a ding in the front wheel and i was quoted $900 in Melb to have it rerolled, retempered, repainted and freighted back to me. I chose to put up with it.
Having said that i reckon the wheels are the same but good RF900R parts are hard to get now

We can vouch for Laurie Alderton. He repaired both the wheels on Dave's BMW after he hit some bricks on the road one night. A great job at a realistic price.

Re: Bandit front wheel.
After forking out for new fork springs and tyres I'm gonna get this wheel sorted asap.
I went for a ride today and the vibration was annoying.
Thanks for the info on the wheel repairer I'll give him a call.

Failing that...
Hey mate,
If you need a second opinion you could always try Ash's Spoked Wheels in Brisbane. Have used them previously and workmanship and service was very good.
Regards,
Nathan
