Since yesterdays off topic hijacking of re-cycled's ride thread, Gus and I have been challenging each other via PM to post our best nature photo.

I'm sure he wont mind if anyone else joins in. There's some good snappers amongst us.
No prizes. Just share your best work.

Rules;
I think we'll limit it to one pic each per day
Anything to do with nature.
No photoshopping except for basic adjustments.
If you're a professional you should declare it in the post.
Max 1000 pixels wide.
Description optional.

I use a Fujifilm S5800. Had it for about 3 years now. I do also run my photos through Paint.net graphics program at times to clean them up.

This little fella decided to come visit me while I was sleeping out the back in a chair. The wife had put out chicken necks for the cat's and there was one left over. I guess he thought he might as well eat it before the cat s came back. He was 4 feet away and heading toward me when the wife spotted him.
