I think we'll limit it to one pic each per day
Anything to do with nature.

If you're a professional you should declare it in the post.

Re: Misc Nature Photo's Thread
Never let it be said that great photos come from great photographers.
What we have here is a great board of Bikers, Nature Lovers, (for the younger ones "Lovers") and folk who love life!
Photos are not a competition they are an expression of what we love in nature and they are very evident of that in what we all post here.
I wish others would post more images for I love all that are posted here and the difference in the images posted make this thread so wonderful.
As Bikers we are exposed to nature more than most, so PLEASE post your images, tell us about them, and let us share the glory of this wonderful country.

I fully agree Chris. I just don't have the "eye" that you and some others have.
A good pic is always a good pic no matter who takes it or what it was taken with

Now I'm off to catch a rose thats opening this morning

Wrong, you do, I have just had 20 or so more years of practice and being gainfully unemployed I have many more hours to practice and learn the equipment.
The great thing about Digital is the cost of developing your images, NIL. I take on average 2000 to 4000 images a week all in RAW, I view and cull them in Breeze Browser Pro and am happy if I keep 100, the more you take the better you get.
I was once told by a photographer of some note that there were only three things important in photography, "Light,Light,Light" if you always keep that in mind it will all come to you in time.

And you have the temerity to say you don't have the eye for photography mate.
Have a real good look at those images and tell me the faults you can find with them.
The photos posted here are from folk who those images mean something to, not Pros trying to make a dollar by manipulating an image into something fake and it shows.
Great shots!

Peter any chance of a front on shot. I reckon that would be a good profile. See if you can get the spider to wink at you if it's not to much trouble.
Re: Misc Nature Photo's Thread
Thanks for the comments, we really do get some great photos here, keep up the good work. It's well worth going through the whole thread now and again.
2WA, I dug that one out of the archives, will have a go next time one comes to visit.

I thought the shafts of light in the water were interesting, I didn't see the duck until I had it on the computer.
Re: Misc Nature Photo's Thread
Re-Cycled a great photo with a "Where's Wally" duck in it. I love it when you get invisible additions to your image and then it adds so much to the image. Great Stuff!

@Kaupy
Great images of one of my favorite parts of the country.
Did you use a Polarizing filter because you have beautiful skies and white snow those are worth framing.
I would love to see any more you have of that area as it has been a few years since my last vissit (pre accident )

Have a good look at those images.
They are more than bloody good, they are indicative of an eye that shows what photography is all about, I hope you understand that.

Wow, gee, thanks Lads ! Im still trying to figure out a few of the options of my 7 year old point n shoot Sony Cyber-shot 3.2mp.
2WA, the first shot was in the Little Desert National Park, and the second was "a little way across" Lake Hindmarsh (yep, turned around coz it was gettin a little spongy underneath!!).

Re: Misc Nature Photos Thread
Those photos were taken with a plain old kodak digital. Sorry, That was all I took on my ride yesterday. I wanted to see what the performance of the Bandit was like in the hills.(Very Impressive). It was one of those perfect riding days 225klm. Lots of tight curves and hairpins. If you want copies of the pics pm me chris
