Misc Nature Photo's Thread
First topic message reminder :
Since yesterdays off topic hijacking of re-cycled's ride thread, Gus and I have been challenging each other via PM to post our best nature photo.
I'm sure he wont mind if anyone else joins in. There's some good snappers amongst us.
No prizes. Just share your best work.
Rules;
I think we'll limit it to one pic each per day
Anything to do with nature.
No photoshopping except for basic adjustments.
If you're a professional you should declare it in the post.
Max 1000 pixels wide.
Description optional.
Here's the big G's effort today. Taken at home today.
Here's mine. Taken at Walhalla last year
Come on, join in

Re: Misc Nature Photo's Thread
Gus, we have a family that has been with us for years and wake me up at about 5am with their glorious song. I sit on my chair outside and feed him slices of dog food (on the advice of my vet) he will eat one piece then take the rest back to the nest. We are so lucky to have our native gregarious birds who allow us to share their house with us. This is my Eastern Rosella who comes around early to avoid the noisy Lorikeets.

Nice visitotrs to have Gus. we have a regular pair that come and nest on our block each year. They are here now. Just for the record, the Tawny Frog Mouth is not actually an owl. It is a Night Jar. Apparently it has something to do with the talons.

Seeing as we're being pedantic, Nightjar is one word
