Phillip Island WSBKs (2016 National Meet)
First topic message reminder :
Who's planning on doing the WSBK's in February, and who is interested in getting a house on the island?
There are plenty of options but we'd need to know who wants to join in to get a idea of what size place we'd need?
Going

Unfortunately it looks like Axel may not be coming this trip, he has hurt his back about a fortnight ago and it hasn't improved enough that I feel he'd be comfortable in the sidecar for the extended trips. He's slowly getting better with his painkillers and antibiotics but I think he still needs at least two more weeks before he is 100% fit.
However I'm training his kennel sister Willow how to ride in the sidecar so there should still be two of us. Willow is not as tall as Axel, and she is a little puddy, weighs close to 100kg, friendly but a bit timid until she gets to know you.
Willow's first ride in the bike, just up and down the drive way to get use to the noise and motion

Re: Phillip Island WSBKs (2016 National Meet)
Thanks Hammy.
I think he was a bit jealous when he saw Willow taking his spot, but he has trouble getting comfortable when he sits, vets have x-rayed him and there is no vertebra or disc trouble, but they still believe its spine related. If he does improve over the next week I might bring him but at this stage I think its better that he has a bit more rest.
Then it will be an issue on who goes on the next Black Dog Run in March, might have to modify my trailer:

Boat docks at 6am, should be on the road by 7. Depending on traffic (which I hope to be light seeing as I'm heading out of the city) I can be at Bryan's place in about an hour.
You worked out what time you're heading off to the Island ?

I doubt we'd be leaving that early, what is the earliest check in time madmax??barry_mcki wrote:Boat docks at 6am, should be on the road by 7. Depending on traffic (which I hope to be light seeing as I'm heading out of the city) I can be at Bryan's place in about an hour.

Looks like it's only another hour from Bryan's to Surf Beach, so there's no need to rush out the door at sparrows fart.

Can't check in until 2pm. I was thinking depending on weather for a ride aroud a bit of gippsland before heading to the island. But we can play it by ear and more than happy to wait for Barry.

some of you could head north to meet up with us if you felt like it. We can keep in contact when it gets closer. I just had a look at your Thursday itinerary, I think it's pretty much the same as Bryan has suggested for our route back into Melbourne the following weekHammy wrote:some of you could head north to meet up with us if you felt like it. We can keep in contact when it gets closer. JAT.
