Hey Bandit Brothers,
Some members we have had on here that were big contributers to this great forum and I was wondering what happened to members like:

Ross used to enjoy his pics of his bandit mods and his drawings

SolomonKane used to write for bike mags from America and all his responses were, to me a good read and informative.

Plus a few others.

Theres a few more we could add to the list.
Lucky for me I socialise with some or keep in touch through FB.

If someone drops off it would be nice to know why but I guess the forum for whatever reason isnt the priority it once was. Thats life.

I'm still ere. Lurking in the background! On occasion I get to checkout what the forum is up to. Work has got in the way of family, my other toy, and Bandit related stuff. Here's hoping the Xmas break frees up some time to catch up.

Missing Members Empty Lurking

Post  Mpottsy Fri 19 Dec 2014, 4:22 pm

Yes I am another lurker over the past year as life has become a little hectic and time has just been slipping away.

I try and catch up on all the gossip every now and then when time allows and get out on the road on my trusty steed. lets hope next year frees up some more of my time to get back online more frequently etc.

I am about to be very cheeky however and put up a post about something which I am sure is very dear to a few members on here. Me being one of them.

Hi all have been missing for a bit, just laziness I guess Very Happy still on the GSX650F LAMS,  although have been on my big boy licence for a bit.  Just love this little guy too much to let go although dealer keeps offering great trade in offer on new GSX1250 FA. Wish I had of had that sort of offer to trade the ex in Laughing! New model (ooops I mean lady)  and son love being on the back, so maybe it is time to graduate. If only they offered the big brother in the same colour scheme:D

Still Around guys. Have been and still am immersed in an online UNI course with Berkley California. That, Work, and faulty computers have kept me extremely busy. Then had the job of a full jetski rebuild for a bloke. Another one coming in a week for a service. A FourTrax 4x4 quad on the lift waiting to have seals replaced, and a 200 trailbike waiting to be finished. PHPHPHPew that was a mouthful. Anyway I'll still poke my nose in from time to time.

I wish my arm was ok Paul. Ever since the shoulder op I've had a lot of trouble. Sometimes I have use my left arm to lift my right arm to reach the throttle. The surgeon says Frozen shoulder syndrome, and if it's still the same in 4 months time it's back under a general to pull the arm out of the socket and some severe stretching to loosen the tendons.

Not good news mate , lets hope it loosens up without having to resort to the second option .

I'm hearing ya brother.  I broke both my radius AND ulna of my left arm just below the elbow. Plus smashed the elbow to bits. 12 hour op to put it all back together. Off work for 3 months. I could hardly lift my arm above my head when I went back to work. Takes a lot of time and effort, but it does get better.  All the best with it.

Spent 10 Hours on the Bandit Yesterday and with a bit of forced twisting and stretching before we left, it wasn't real bad. it was my back and bum that gave more trouble.

He is doing really well.
Easily got more than enough hours (by the books anyway) to go for his license.
Did a lesson with an instructor the other day and impressed the guy.
The instructor asked that he come back for one more lesson to practice/prefect E stops and then he wants the young fella to go for his practical test.
We must be doing something right as we had the same kind of response from the driving instructor as well.
We/re hoping he gets his licence first go and we think he will but I guess only time will tell.

BTW the chinese POS is still going strong, can't seam to kill it. Reckon me might end up keeping it for the next son to learn on.

Hey there guys, I haven't been on here for ages. I think I just lost interest after I started travelling. Nowadays I've still got my Bandit which mainly just gets used for commuting to work, but I've got other interests which includes mountain biking(I seem to spend a lot of time and money on that).
I was just thinking I must get back on here and see what's been going on.
