Sorry, been missing in action for a few weeks
I've been missing from everything except work and my footy club for a month.
My SANFL side the North Adelaide Roosters have just broken their 27 year premiership drought beating favourite Norwood at Adelaide Oval in front of over 40.300 supporters
My favourite pic of the day, my daughter and I outside Adelaide Oval after the game
we both were a part of building this 26 m long, 6.5 m high crepe paper and sticky tape monster, the only thing not crepe is the 4 photo's a former player printed for us, 18 people and over 250 man hours, we lost count of the tape after about 6km
Ist team to go bottom to top since 1964, 1st ever to do it from 10th the previous year
2nd time a club has done it from 5th spot and the elimination final
Largest SANFL crowd since 1998
Ist time we've ever won a GF as underdog
Our reserves side also won the flag
Time to get back to normality and shed the 5kg I've added in the past 4 weeks

I was sent this photo yesterday, it really puts the size of it into perspective
The blue on the ground was the opposition's banner
I'm on the (looking at banner from front) the RH centre rope, I'm right on the RH edge of the image and had no idea i that far from it. My daughter Kaylah (some of you have met) is one of the dancers

Great News story, that crowd number is fantastic!.
I follow NRL but after the Slater shoulder charge and other blatant favouritism within NRL ranks I'm seriously considering following AFL.
Congrats!
