There seems to be lot of new members .May i be i bit forward here and ask for some bike photos of your bikes or maybe a post or two.
Does'nt have to be exciting ,its amazing how a simple comment will snowball.

Re: New members
I don’t think its to much to ask new members to make a post and introduce themselves and their bike.
Its one thing to lurk for a while but once signed up put up a post
We're often gentle with new members unless they have a big opinion of themselves. We wont use much KY in that case
I'm a member of another forum that allows 2 weeks for the first post. After that you're removed

Re: New members
Ahhh, the rules are already starting to creep in hey.
I think if someone wants to lurk, let em.
It's the thin end of the wedge I reckon.
Just my opinion.

Re: New members
I'm not advocating that if you don't post you get removed. Lurking is fine by me. It's a case of if someone goes to the effort of registering they may as well post a greeting. They will always be welcome here and we might all learn some tricks. If they piss people off we have the friend/foe function in our profile so sort them out.
Just my opinion.

What do you really think is the chance of that happening.
What with the likes of Reardo, Recycled, 2WA, The megaposter Gus and yes, Me, as well and a few others on here, I doubt it'd stay quiet for long.
The odd "pink bike "comment or the Lions / Magpies suck would get it going every time.
PS I dont think the Magpies suck BTW. Phew dodged a bullet there.

Good old Collingwood forever,
we know how to play the game.
Side by side we stick together,
to uphold The Magpies name.
Hear the barrackers a shouting,
as all barrackers should,
Oh, the premiership's a cakewalk
For the good old Collingwood.

OMFG.....I can't believe that a Banidt owner could have such bad taste in other aspects of they're lives. I'll just balance this out a bit.
We are Geelong,
The greatest team of all.
We are Geelong,
We're always on the ball,
We play the game the way it should be played,
At home or far away,
Our banners fly high from dawn to dark
Down at Kardina Park.

If people want to post, let them post
If people don't want to post, they don't have to post
If people join the forum then leave, let them leave
Forcing people to post or continually asking them to post is one way to get in their face about it and for some people a great way to piss them off making them never want to come back. The "I don't like being told what to do" thing
It's a free world and people can make up their own mind if this forum/place is for them and what they want
Just my opinion

Go Tiges!!!
I think the most important part is to make the forum welcoming of everyone, including those that may not decide to join.
