T shirt for Parkes Meet

First topic message reminder :

I'm starting a fresh topic for this so it's easier to keep a track on.

So the final design can be finished with all of the start destinations I'll need a full list of who is going in the next month or so.
Could all definite please leave your Name and Location so I can look at finishing the design, also could you indicate if you want a commemorative T Shirt, and if more than one, how many and sizes

Changes to orders highlighted in Grey

I haven't done any price searching in Asia at the moment, just had 4 quotes, 2 from Interstate and 2 from suburban Adelaide, so far the best one is local which would be easier for me to collect rather than pay and wait for delivery.

Price per shirt will be dependant on the final numbers, their pricing is:

Set up $60 + GST ($66-00), currently 20 shirts ordered, which is $3-30 per shirt inc GST
Printing $1 + GST ($1-10) per shirt
Shirts, $9-00 + GST ($9-90) per shirt for 21-50 shirts, $9-25 + GST ($10-18) for 11-20 shirts

If the orders don't increase they would be about $14-45 each + what ever Australia Post charges me to post them out to everyone (if I was riding over solo I'd take them but a 16 yo daughter as pillion will fill more luggage than me  ), the more ordered the cheaper they will get

Available colours are 

Black, White, Bone, Bottle, Brown, Charcoal, Navy, Emerald, Gold, Old gold, Yellow, Turquoise, Lime, Snow/Marle, Grey/Marle, Aqua, Orange, Surf (Ice blue), Purple, Red, Royal, Sky, Earth, Stone, Maroon, Azure, Dusty blue, Dusty pink, Olive, Hot Pink, Teal Coral Red, Fruit Green

As the design is predominantly white with a bit of red we would need to stick to the darker colours I've highlighted, some of the others may be ok, I'd have to talk to the printer to check for sure, they are now closed until mid January which still gives plenty of time to get them sorted before the event

Great work Chook.  The prices sound fair enough to me. Can we choose our colour ?  If so. I would like one black and one charcoal.

Could I order 1 X "XL" T shirt in Navy and 1 X "3XL" T shirt in Charcoal (if 3XL is not available, then 2XL will have to do)

Unfortunately, my brother and I will not be able to get there until Saturday arvo - (Bosco 15, we will leave home early Saturday morning) We are looking forward to it nonetheless.

I have made a booking at the Coachman for Saturday the 7th.

For convenience our place of origin will be Newcastle. If I was going to be pedantic, I would say Lake Macquarie, but Newcastle will be fine!!

Well, it is getting closer to the big weekend. Anyone got any ideas on what or where we can go on the Saturday ? I suppose some might want to visit the "Dish". I see there are a few lakes around the area, one being Lake Cargelligo, west of Parkes. Any thoughts on the matter ?

That sounds good JC.  We might have to have a couple of different options, but that's ok.

Temora i think

There is also the option of a 180 odd km loop out from Parkes listed on the original Parkes meet post. Some people may prefer to do that ride, as the Temora ride is about 197km each way. That's all good tho, we may be able to have two group rides heading different directions.

Rayman06 & I discussed the same thing yesterday, I wondered if we could do it on the way from Hay to Parks although it would make a great photo shot with all attendees bikes in front of the dish

Unfortunately the Temora Aviation Museum does not have any warplanes schedule to be flying for our weekend, but it is still open with plenty to see.  

About 2 1/2 - 3 hrs depending on route taken according to Google Maps.

In that case we can use the runway for a drag strip. 

JC. Depending on time and route, we could always call into the air museum on the way up to Parkes. Seeing there is no flying on that weekend.  Have you, Tag, and "Spyderbait" nutted out a route to Parkes yet ?
