T shirt for Parkes Meet

First topic message reminder :

I'm starting a fresh topic for this so it's easier to keep a track on.

So the final design can be finished with all of the start destinations I'll need a full list of who is going in the next month or so.
Could all definite please leave your Name and Location so I can look at finishing the design, also could you indicate if you want a commemorative T Shirt, and if more than one, how many and sizes

I've just received a message to say printing is done and they'll be posted in the next couple of business days, I should be able to stop worrying that we would get there before the shirts

Well the T Shirts are now safety in Parkes at the Coachman

I had asked the supplier to message me the day they were shipped, up until an hour ago, no message.
I sent one yesterday, unanswered, another today and I got a call back, after a couple of minutes fumbling around he says "yeh, they were shipped on the 12th", 
me: "it's the 20th, you were going to let me know when they were sent so I could let the hotel know" 
"yeh, sorry about that, it's been a bit hectic around here, tracking says they were signed for yesterday"

A quick call to the Coachman, even though I'd let them know twice before the person receiving them had no idea about them and was about to do the rounds of the local motorbike shops to see if they owned them.

All good, they are waiting to be distributed, pressures off now

That's unbelievable, there's more than one motorbike shop in Parkes

If I'd thought about it earlier, I could have hit the Coachman and local Suzuki dealer up for some sponsorship

Let the Suzuki dealer know we're coming, maybe they will notify the local newspaper and get our photo taken, good publicity and some advertising for the dealer..

Did anyone realise it was 74m (Google Maps) from the Coachman when we decided to book there?

We are talking about Parkes, its only 100m to the end of town

LOL, compared to where I grew up, Parkes is a city, when I think about it, so are towns less than 1/2 the size of Parkes  

I live in a town of 200 people and what sounds like 500 dogs, on a moonlit night.

I'm with you, I grew up in a town with 500 people, that included all those living on farms within about 20km. 
The town only had a Primary School, once we started High School it was a 32km bus ride to a Area School (Primary + Secondary) in a town (?) of less than 20, the population exploded every school day to around 350
