Re: Misc Nature Photo's Thread
Yes mate but they're impossible for me to photograph. I got 1 in silhouette only. The house we were staying at had Hummingbird feeders set up. A magnificent little bird but too quick for me and this camera.mtbeerwah wrote:nice photo 2wheels!!
as you`ve been over there a few times, I think (correct me if I`m wrong)
have you ever come across any humming birds?

I`m fascinated with them, and would love to see one.
Seen lots of doco`s on them via Attenborough, and the likes of, and they`re an amazing bird.

Nice photo, strange ours hasn't flowered yet, it must me waiting for a Westerly so it doesn't have to hold the weight for more than 24hrs. As usual.

The northern lights from space.
Obviously I didn`t take this photo, but it is a natural phenomena, and quiet spectacular. I just received this in an email.

Our son and his fiance are in Europe now and are planning on making their way up to Norway to get a first hand view of the lights.

Seen this thing...digital camera with built in Andriod device
Some of the specs
35 - 150mm optical zoom
4k video with same optical zoom
It has 16 separate camera/lenses (5x 35mm, 5x 70mm, and 6x 150mm) and depending on where you focus, up to 10 of the cameras fire then they use software to lace the picture into a 52 megapixel photo.

I have a mate who writes for Gizmag who's looking forward to doing a review on this Barry. He was raving about it on FB last night. It's interesting for sure.

My brothers pulse jet. We were bored, so decided to run it.
I haven`t heard it run for about 20yrs. I`d forgotten how loud they are.

I called in on Agnes Waters on my way home back from Briz last week.
I didn`t pack enough gear to go for a dip.
Sun had just come up.

I red cap, is a bit too much clothing for that area Barry.
Are you sure your not going to put it on your head Paul?
It`s know as a breeding ground for tiger sharks. But if you watched the show on one of the TV stations last weekend,
apparently you can cuddle them like puppies......yeah sure!!!!

It would probably depend on the water temperature .........................I saw some of that TV show I think you're talking about .............maybe the red caps might stop the sharks from thinking there were baby seals in the areamtbeerwah wrote:paul wrote:I know where I would be wearing my red hat ..............& it aint on my headbarry_mcki wrote:Don't you just need a red cap to go swimming ?

Re: Misc Nature Photo's Thread
I shot this today.
The lighting isn`t real good, and not real central, but a good action shot.
