How many kms is your bandit
Seeing as I'm not from round here, thought I'd start a thread to see how old / how many kms peoples bandits have on them.
I'll start: mine's an 06 and has 83,000km on it.... sounds a lot, maybe, but that motor feels and sounds fantastic.
Any issues / major things I should be looking out for / doing on it in the next little while?

2010 1250s with 46,000 kms. No issues to date - just normal wear and tear replacements, except when I dropped it on a muddy road and broke the radiator.

My lovely lady is an 08 bought with 800kms on clock, now with a measly 5000kms. Dropped once, broken mirror..currently on life support (charger) next to her stablemate, '10 Street Triple with 21,000kms (about 400kms my own)

Probably around 11K. Haven't had it long. I can't ride in the Winter on account of work out of the area. Not suitable as transport for the commute. It'll stay that way until the end of Sept. If I'm lucky before I go, I'll get a couple of rides in and an oil change before it sits idle for the season.

'02 with 81,000km. It'd be more if my wife could get a full time job instead of short term contract or casual work.

Now I see why you'd want to wear your bike out Jim - the reward is another bike! Nice.

Re: How many kms is your bandit
Recently traded my '05 in for a brand new 2010. The '05 had 115 000 km on her when I handed over the keys and she was running like a dream. Just serviced and changed oil every 6000km and put fuel and tyres on her. I was sad to see her go. I am totally happy with the new one and have racked up 2500km already! Go the Bandits!

Mine is a 2010.
I bought it 2nd hand in August 2012 with 1,800.
It now has 13,200 & I've loved every one of them.

Re: How many kms is your bandit
Great to see a few with some miles on them, and still running strong.... gives me confidence
Yeah my engine is feeling great, and I also enjoy riding it like it was stolen once in a while, oh yes. With the Delkevic on it, the sound of the exhaust cackling away when you hammer and then let go is rather rewarding....
Did my first oil change the other day, and f..k me if that filter isn't the most annoying thing I've done in a while. Have now discovered the k&n oil filter with the nut on the end, almost the same price, thank you very much. Planning to change oil and filter every 3000km to keep it all extra nice in there.
