New bandit
Hi guys!
Just discovered this site excellent!
Especially since I took delivery of the new charcoal 2010 1250 in time for Christmas!
Didn't know what the color was going to be but ordered it at 1600hrs on the Friday was in Adelaide by 1100 on the following Tuesday and I rode it home 4hrs later.
Its up for the first service now so I have to lay off for a couple of days.
I'm a older rider returning after quite a few years and I'm blown away at the confidence this bike inspires!
I'm also having trouble with my grin, Its hard to get my helmet off!
Cheers!

Re: New bandit
Hey Big Al!
Your story is similar to mine. I thought I was getting one of the blue 1250s's, but was pleasantly surprised to get the charcoal!
So, now there's two of us we can start a splinter group!
Have you plans for accessories?

The grin is very hard to get rid of!! My mention of the gearbox was because he asked me about them in another forum.

Re: New bandit
Welcome to the forum guys. I was just down your way on the weekend with some mates for a 300(ish)km day ride. I'm in Salisbury, a bit far for a quick beer, but not too far to sort out a ride.

They do shift better under load but I think most bike boxes do anyway. You'll work out a sweet spot in the engine range
