New Sexy Layout
Just wondering if anyone else noticed they can only add to someone’s “quote” not post their own pearls of wisdom below the quoted text with this new layout?
New posts are fine however.
I’m using Chrome if that makes a difference.

I see what you mean, and I'm using Firefox. Makes it a bit hard to follow as it doesn't separate with who wrote the reply

Re: New Sexy Layout
Damn that's a bad feature.
You better get onto it straight away!

So Mr Smartie Pants what browser are you using?
Re: New Sexy Layout
I tried two browsers, firefox and Internut Exploder, and you are right, it doesn't work right!
Just as a stir I did a work around,
Click in quoted text
Ctrl+a to select all
Ctrl+x to cut selection to clipboard
Enter text of your choice
Ctrl+v to paste quote back in the desired position
Anyone who has gone over to the dark side, and their computer is a piece of fruit, is on their own.

A lot of stuffing around just to achieve the right result.
Some guys wouldn't follow what you did

It didn't work with Chrome on my piece of fruit yesterday either
This isn't a bad work around though

Why do people find it necessary to fix things that aren't broken?

I haven't heard back from Cam but I assume it was an "upgrade" that was pushed onto all forums running this software.
Why it was implemented without testing it on the 2nd (by a long way) and 3rd most popular browsers just stupid. It does work as intended on the old version of IE we have installed at work.

Never had trouble with pictures in Chrome Dave.
You must have something turned off.

Re: New Sexy Layout
I wondered about that - it happens when I hit the copy button - instead of asking if I want to allow access it just does nothing and then no photo gets copied to the input screen.

Re: New Sexy Layout
Chris, my piece of fruit will no longer host pics the way I was doing it. I won't download Chrome as it buggered my last computer. I have the latest model so you would know whatever Im running straight out of the box. Im not at all computer savvy, it took me a lot of headaches to workout how to post photos last time and now its changed. I use serving as the host. if anyone can help i would really appreciate it. Cheers Jim.

JTB my piece of fruit is only a couple of months old and all updates have been run and I installed Chrome (for mac) without a drama. I don't think I have even launched Safari. Just accept the defaults and it should be right.
As for uploading photos I use my free photobucket or picasa accounts and use the links they provide.
Serving sometimes wants to know a password which makes me think its not as legit as it should be.
Re: New Sexy Layout
This piece of fruit works just fine, but thank you for the work around. Obvious really....
And hardly a lot of stuffing around, even if a bit inelegant
