No problems mate.

That 1 to many "h" was missing from the second "http" link.

If you use the link box at the top of the reply area, You can past the link in the top box and what the link is in the bottom box and click "OK".
Leave a space or line between links so they don't look like one

I'm not giving you a lesson mate, Just passing on what someone has passed on to me.

It's probably much better quality than the Danmoto I've got on my bike - but hell it looks almost the same! I'd say the Chinese copied it... Smile At 283 Uk Pounds though it's about 7 times more expensive too... What a Face

Depends on what base line you're starting with.
If fitting produces a flat spot or other frown inducing side effect sure have a look at the jetting but it might already be modified.

Fitted the DanMoto 'Carbon GP' to my 1250 Bandit on Friday night.
Took about an hour mainly due to my arthritic fingers.
Stock can weighed 6.5kg according to my scales and DanMoto weighed about 1.25kg all up.
So 5kg weight saving on a 240kg bike is equivalent to 2.1% performance if all else stays equal (ie no more HP released by new pipe).

Plenty of snap crackle and pop on over-run on Saturday.....

Here are before and after videos all shot in same spot with same camera phone so you can compare.
Stock: chinese exhausts - Page 2 Th_20120413_162014

DanMoto: chinese exhausts - Page 2 Th_20120413_173132

Click on the pix to launch the vids.

Happy enough for $120 delivered.
And as for comments that "you get what you pay for", well the proof is yet to come, but I don't buy the argument that because you pay $300 to $500 for some stainless pipe and baffle and tube from a name manufacturer it is automatically worth more.....

Is that years of experience with a name brand? Or years of experience with a chinese brand, or both, Hammy?

Or just years of experience on bikes?

Cos I have 44 years on em, since I built my first bike (BSA 650 Gold Flash) up from a box of bits when I was 14. And had more exhausts of various varieties than I can remember.

I'm talking in general terms, wright across the retail sector. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, and I too have found that now and then you will find a cheap alternative that comes up trumps. But. Very seldom. I have worked in the MC industry so I am speaking from experience. Trying to explain to customers that "they" went for the cheaper option that has not come up to their expectations. I am guilty as well. I will never cut corners when it comes to items of safety or importance though. ie, brakes, oils, even chain and sprockets. Would you put a no name brand of oil in your bike ? No, of course you would'nt. I hope this helps you understand the way I think, and in no way am I trying to promote big name brands over smaller unkown rivals. Everyone has a choice. Very Happy

I agree, somethings I don't mind buying cheap, but sometimes you've just got to bite the bullet and pay. I'll buy a cheap power tool if it's something I rarely use. My cordless drill however cost me nearly $500
I was lucky to get my Staintune secondhand, otherwise I might have been tempted into buying one of these Chinese ones while I saved for what I really wanted.

Still happy with my DanMoto... must have done at least 25,000k's with it now... still in good shape - still good power to the bike and fuel economy unchanged... Smile

I stopped the 'popping' by blocking off the air box pipe (not sure if that's its correct name) under the right hand side of the seat... after blocking it completely I started to drill it out gradually until it 'only just' started to 'pop'... so now sounds great in my books.. Twisted Evil
