Rock Polishing
The darling is into geology and amongst other things wants a rock polisher for Christmas.
I've had a browse through eBay and figure she would only need a small one.
Can anyone recommend one? I mean clearly a motorcycle forum is the place to ask right?

Re: Rock Polishing
are you talking a rock tumbler to get the first cut done?
If so then maybe you could make one yourself. Years ago I helped my uncle make one using washer machine parts, pieces of scrap found in grandpa's shed and a metal drum.
Found this out there in www world. Not the way we did it, but pretty cool I reckon.

2WA You need to make a Bandit powered tumbler, that way when gems need polishing you have to go for a ride.
Win, Win situation.

There are some good basic kits on that site.
Will be worth a look and a trial run then maybe build a bigger contraption myself.
I might even be able to polish Gus's nuggets
Thanks Dhula and Recycled
