When I bought my bike the previous owner told me that he dropped it in a gravel car park and lightly scratched the left hand side engine cover.

So I decided to polish it up and try and get ride of the marks.

I have also been reading about modifying the ignition backing plate to give it more advance, I moved it close enough to 5 mm.  whilst I had this engine plate off, I thought I would balance the look and I polished it as well.

I only had time to take it for a quick spin but it felt nice but it does need the gets done and a tune asap.  (tax cheque time)

So here are some pics

No I didn't bother clear coating them, it is not really warm enough to paint at the moment, so I will just keep polishing from time to time, I do not intend to the the clutch cover, enough is enough, lol
