Time to plan the next overnight ride - 29-30 Oct at Bathurst near Neville

First topic message reminder :

Ok you guys, time to think about the next overnighter.

We've been South and North and since there is no snorkel mod for the Bandit, that leaves West. I'm thinking Neville Bathurst, where I know many of us have stayed before so we know it's a great spot.

IMO riding in a large group is over-rated but socialising in a large group deserves its reputation. So.. I'm thinking several groups from different directions converging on Neville Bathurst for a spot of beer judging.

It's early days so please feel free to put in a suggestion.

I know you guys only just did it, but I'm thinking ***Neville** (near Barry ) the original thought was a place we could converge on in separate groups from different directions, I'm sure you guys can make up an interesting way to get there, get up early and meet us at Denman .

If you want Oxley go ahead and plan a separate ride, you can never have too many rides planned.

BTW I'm also interested in a multi-day ride to the Southern Highlands early next year, when all the snow has definitely melted.

I'm sure we decided on Neville. Might want to see if they can accomodate us now

I agree with Baz, we need to get some pretty firm numbers so we can lock in accommodation at Neville Siding

baz has us covered. he had a pretty decent chat with the bloke at the pub...after a beer or 15

My wife is also keen - rides a VL250!!!! So it's an all day trip for us! How does that affect the accommodation arrangements? - I haven't been to Neville.

Neville is accomodation in old railway carriages or in the big barn and have 3 single beds in a room generally, I think there is something for the marrieds & in love

I should be back on the bike by then so it fingers crossed. I am hoping to be back on the bike within 8 weeks post op. The misses said she would also like to ride with us if it's okay. She should be on cb400 by then as well.

Well im out.
Decided to play cricket again this season so i cant make a 2 day ride. depending on what day i play, ill either ride up with you on the saturday, or meet up and ride home with you guys on the sunday
