Since yesterdays off topic hijacking of re-cycled's ride thread, Gus and I have been challenging each other via PM to post our best nature photo.

I'm sure he wont mind if anyone else joins in. There's some good snappers amongst us.
No prizes. Just share your best work.

Rules;
I think we'll limit it to one pic each per day
Anything to do with nature.
No photoshopping except for basic adjustments.
If you're a professional you should declare it in the post.
Max 1000 pixels wide.
Description optional.

Wonderful pictures demonstrating some real artists here, I mean that in the nicest way too, PLS don't tell me these we captured via a digital compact camera. I'm trying to get a business case up for a DSLR to the CEO, minister of finance and all things not fun based on the technology needed for all manner of shooting!

Mate, if you know what you're doing you'll get better pix from a DSLR most of my pix are from a 4mp Fuji FinePix S5500 the others from a point & shoot canon. I lust after a DSLR. That probably doesn't help your case lol. I'm enjoying this thread. We're still a bike forum though.

I always wanted an dig SLR but this Panasonic 18x zoom seems OK, I shoot in a raw format which has taught me a lot, maybe next time.
