Is the perspective too low
Low Camera Position
Seeing as I have already accidently dislodged the camera mount once and somehow managed to only inflict scratches to the camera body I’m thinking I might not be so lucky next time.
I’m editing another 20 minute video using this view but it might be the last time.
Is it mounted too low or does the perspective warrant taking another chance? (Camera level with the bottom frame rail)

Re: Low Camera Position
i recon it's a great vieew of the world.
I'm considering a cheepo camera (if it's an thing like my other "gunner" projects, it won't happen till at least 2015) and thinking if I do it I'll buy a forkbrace and mount it there or perhaps just under the headlight.

Re: Low Camera Position
It looks effective, but one of my favourite videos is from our Philip Island trip, onboard with the flying ZX14, from memory the camera was on the side of the fairing about seat height. So it's not necessary to risk your gear to get a great shot.
