Secondary Throttle Position sensor
I have managed to score an almost new set of throttle bodies off a GSF1250, but the secondary throttle position sensor (part 13580-18H00) is damaged. It's easily replaceable, but Suzuki NZ want a stupid price for it (NZD$236 for a USD $80 part). The American sites all want about $70 for shipping (the bloody thing is tiny and light so that is unreasonable).
Does anyone happen to have an old set of TB's they'd be prepared to remove the STPS off? It fits both the GSF1250, the GSX1250FA, the GSX650F and the 08- GSF650 (water cooled). It's the rearmost smaller sensor on the left side of the TBs, secured by one Torxx screw
If so, please PM me!
Cheers all.

Re: Secondary Throttle Position sensor
Have I missed something? Why do you need this second set?

Ha ha. I have a cunning plan, and have now sourced a sensor. Watch this space.

Re: Secondary Throttle Position sensor
if your guna try what I think your guna try then one thing to keep in mind is the ECU needs to see full ROM from the sensor or it will throw a fault and lock stuff into limp home mode.
But then again you might be doing something different and I could be way off.

Got a sensor cheaply, fitted and adjusted and now have a cheap set of spare TBs just in case. In 5 years time someone (maybe me) will thank me

Re: Secondary Throttle Position sensor
Nah, going to keep this thing long term, so collecting cheaply bits that can fail yet will be spectacularly expensive to replace, like starters, fuel pumps, TBs and the like. The cheap replacement starter saved me at least $900 recently when the original coloured its rompers. Every now and then I get a bargain.
