Am i the only one who finds the fuel gauge annoying. When it first starts flashing there is more than 100ks left so i ignore it and go back to looking where I'm going. The next time i see something flashing(no ,not that kind of flashing Whitey) i wonder how long that's been on for.At best I'm pushing in 30ks (twice now).Good fuel range(360-+)but I'm convinced on those bars.

I've never trusted fuel guages on bikes or in cars. I work out the worst I'll get out of a tank and fill up at around that distance, resetting the trip meter after I've filled up.

The bonus of having an older bike ('02 Bandit) is that I still have the luxury of a reserve tap.

Luxury of a reserve tap. That say it all doesn't it.

I remember those, they were good as long as you had more than 1.6lts in res.

The conservative fuel gauge used to annoy me but I'm over it now. However not having a temp gauge still shits me especially in our climate.
I know they're not accurate but they still show what's normal and still indicate a trend if something is wrong.

Again, the bonus in having an older, dare I say proper bike. One that doesn't have water in it.

No bloody Fords in my shed, that's where the bikes live. Cars belong outside.

You should be able to click on a smiley and it inserts where the curser is flashing.
