60/40s on a bandit
I am checking out places of interest for a, not so planned, upcoming Qld. tour and many are over gravel roads.
The set of Pirelli Rosso's on the bike are close to knackered (10000 km) and pretty skittish on gravel.
Looking at a set of Conti TKC 70's and a suspension softening to,maybe, give the bike enhanced "off road" ability.
Anyone been down that track?

I have everything wound up pretty tought with 40 f, 42 r
I am 110 kg and on a trip carry 20-30 kg of gear and tweak the settings a bit before departing
but as you suggest, relaxing preload and dropping my expectations, performance wise will be necessary.
Have you tried any gravel biased tyres on a bandit?
I had a look at my profile settings and relaxed them as well.
P.M. away.
