Shortcut To Work
I've long suspected but think I can now confirm that my bike seems to know a shortcut to work. The time difference on my 40km rural commute between the bike and car is about 6 minutes.
That has to be a short cut surely? What else can it be? Anyone else notice similar time warping on a bike?

Re: Shortcut To Work
That's definitely not just a Honda thing - my Bandit has the ability to merge through traffic like it's moving Matrix-style, thereby cutting down the travel time.

My Bandit cuts 10-15 minutes off of the 11km trip
My Pushbike cuts 2km off the same trip and with a tail wind can match car times

Good to see you got back ok ...........look forward to hearing more about the trip .
2WA , in some cases , the extra time made up is needed sometimes to make up for the last minute changes to how much gear you have to put on before you leave

Re: Shortcut To Work
Every journey is a short cut by bike in Briz.
Example one only: A couple of times I've had to do short stint at a particular work shop, being 38 km's from door step to work shop. In the mornings, fairly easy 40-45 mins, borh car and bike, BUT, in the afternoon... bike, 50 mins, and car....1:20-2:00 hrs.
Brisbane traffic is a joke.
