Yep, when a get a round tuit I will be removing the PC-V and going Woolich on the B1250...have already done so on the gixxer with excellent results. Now that I have the log box and w/band O2 sensor, all I need in a B1250 harness and bin file definitions...additional cost is not much at all.

You're moving out of Dynojet gear and going completely over to Woolwich, are you, Dekenai?

Yes. While I don't have any problem with the PC-V (works as advertised), there are a few advantages to the Woolich solution, (IMO anyway):

Offers access to the full functionality of the ECU, this allows for a whole bunch of additional functionality e.g. move the ignition cut out up a little (10000 rpm should do it), disable the PAIR etc.;

Auto-tune function is cheaper in the long-run as every custom map costs $350;

The piggy-back installation means that if you have issues the first thing you have to do is to remove the PC-V to troubleshoot the issue.
I understand that Woolich have a solution for 2010+ Bandits/GSX1250s ‘in the works’, (apparently Suzuki changed the connectors so they just need to redo the physical connection). I have a mate with a brand new 1250S that he would like to do…should be able to pin the secondary throttle valves open rather than remove them…
Regards Peter

Re: efi tuning software and hardware for 1250 and 650
My bike has had some changes with this software. Modifying secondaries, timing, fan turn on temp, maybe more as it wasn't me programming it...
This plus a Yoshi R77 slip on, PCV with custom tune got me an extra 19hp power increase to 108hp.
I do have some issues if I twist too fast/hard where I lose a cylinder or two but I think this is just because of the timings. All it takes is a quick reset by turning the ignition on and off. I've just learnt to twist a little slower...

Re: efi tuning software and hardware for 1250 and 650
Hi Chett, I haven't heard of anyone running both a reflash and a PC-V before, my understanding is the Woolich can do everything the PC-V does with the added benefit of other functions such as you have listed.
I'm also curious about your power figures, did your tuner do a run in stock trim to get the base figure? Most reports say the 1250 has a stock 98hp, but to get a 19hp increase your starting point would need to have been around 89hp. So unless his dyno was out, there might be some underlying problem with the original bike. I wonder if the PC-V and reflashed ECU are fighting/interfering with each other ? Then to drop half your cylinders at a time you would be wanting max acceleration, that seems a bit dangerous to me.

Hi Barry,
I do have image with both the stock and final tuning run, I'll upload it when at a computer.
Interesting to know that I didnt need to buy the PCV... I'll ask next time I see them. I just recently had a major service conducted by them and other than being way out on the fueling since correcting the fuel pump issue they reported no other issues with the bike.
They were nice enough to retune for a good price.
I wish I had the space/tools to work on (learn)some things myself but apartment living doesn't make that very possible.
Sorry for formating, a bit stuffed up on my phone.

I don't know too much about Woolich, but do respect Dekenai's view that this is the better way to go considering his experience both on the track as well as the road. I think he did a bit of a writeup on Woolich on here somewhere, and there is a fair bit of info on their own site.
Good luck with sorting out your dropped cyclinders gremlin, hopefully it isn't anything too drastic.
