An aversion to winter

It seems that my Bandit doesn't like winter much .............first I replaced the neutral light sensor which decided to give up the ghost , then I went to use my horn & no beep , beep sound ( mind above the naval please people ) , I figured that after all the torrential rain it had been ridden in , a squirt of contact cleaner may help ............viola , all fixed . Then a couple of weeks later when I went to start it ..............no nothing ????/uh..oh...starter motor I thought , but not even a clunk so out with the spray contact cleaner onto the switch & clutch switch, & no more problems . I can only assume water must have started unwanted growths in the switches & the cleaner sorted it out , because all seems to be ok now for the last couple of weeks.

Glad you're finding the problems Paul - that would be driving me nuts.

I was starting to wonder if the prince of darkness old Mr. Lucas had paid me a visit for a while there   ( for those old enough to remember the old British electrics )

Lucas, I remember them well, my mum used to work for the local Lucas Auto Elec in good old Tauranga.
For some strange reason, they always had plenty of work happening!
