Great Southern Ride

First topic message reminder :

Being as our Northern brothers can't wait for the next national event. I was thinking of an event for the southern states.

Tailored for VIC, SA and Tassie but open to all.

Where; Mansfield Victoria
When; March 2014


Mansfield offers plenty of accommodation in the off ski season, plus has plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from.
Close to the allegedly awesome Eildon-Jamison rd. The renowned Mansfield-Whitfied rd and the road to Mt Buller.


Also getting to Mansfield for those coming from or through Melbourne can include either the Black or Reefton Spurs

Sorry mate. They're the weekends im free seeing as I work all or part of 20 weekends a year with 60% being across the summer.

Shits me too,  i work 26 weekends a year and had to take the weekend off for the. Cowra ride. I've got basically no leave left.

I posted the suggested dates of the 8-9 of January the other day,  Ewok and Jimmy jumped straight on board

Here's the weekends when I'm ok:

Jan: 18-19
Feb: 1-2, 8-9
Mar: 8-9, 22-23
Apr: All good!

Hope that helps.  For non weekends, I'll need to look it up if that is the way we end up.

For Me
Feb: 1-2, 8-9, (prefer 8-9 of these 2)
Mar: 29-30
Apr: 5-6

Can do some non weekends
Feb: 10-11, 17-20
Mar: 17-20, 26-30

Can't do anything in Jan as I have my son with me plus a family camping trip booked and planned
Can't do much of Apr for the same reason

After Easter all good but as I said we'd be taking pot luck with the weather.

My matching non weekends are:

Feb: 10-11, 19-20
Mar: 18-20 (possibly, with some jiggling)

Need to get this sorted soon.
