Jamberoo Mountain Rd
Jamberoo Mountain Rd has just been reopened after a lot of stabilisation works and asphalting.
It is a sweet ride now, very smooth and the braking corrogations have been removed at the hairpains.
This runs from Jamberoo Vally up to the Robertson Pie Shop and is a good loop when done with Macquarie Pass.
Mostly 2nd/3rd gear stuff up the steep part then it really opens up at the top to 100km/h sweepers. You've earnt a nice drink once you get to the pie shop.
Just watch out right at the top as there are one or two tight corners that appear once you think its all over for the tight stuff so keep an eye on the speed advisory signs.
Plenty of good scenery and rainforest to look at a there is a nice lookout over the Jamberoo Valley the has views to rival anywhere in the world!
Get to it as there are no Caravans, Buses or large trucks allowed on this road so it is usually pretty quiet.
