Sunday up the Mountain.

Five of us "Islanders" went for a ride yesterday, and I was keen to see how the new Delkevic headers performed. We caught the 8:25am barge across to Redland Bay then headed to the M1. Turned off near Yatla, past the Drive In, and did a loop to cut out the boring freeway. The loop is good with some nice sweepers, quiet, and some interesting sights. Then we crossed back over and on to Mt Tamborine. Opening up the throttle going up the moutain was like music to my ears. Man , those headers sound good. They truely have made the bike into something else. Power just flows on and on, and on...... Across the top then down the other side. Stopped in at the Bearded Dragon Hotel for a cold one and a $20 steak burger. affraid

. Not recommended. Then up the mountain again via a different route and down another. The bike has surpassed my expectations. The ride and company was great. Caught the 3:30pm barge home. 250 ks in total and smiles all round. Great day out.
