On the road again....and off the road again!
Ok now finally on the road agin, sort of. After writing off the FZ1 in february and breaking some ribs I replaced it with a GSX650F. Reasons being the purchase included that the insurance covered the cost of the bike (wife happy) I might be able to handle a 650 where I obviously couldn't handle a 1000, I never really extended the FZ1, as a fair weather rider/commuter I couldn't justify spending more.
So I picked up a 2008 650 in with Ventura rack, put a centre stand on it as I am paranoid about side stands and kids, heated grips (still in box).
Enough performance for me and nice to have a little more protection from weather.
Then first run after recovering from broken ribs my left knee felt a little sore and a lot swollen, one thing led to another which led to a orthopedic surgeon which led to an arthroscopy to repair articulate cartilage.
Now in week three of recovery with great weather and unable to ride the frustration level is rising -Grrrrrr!!!

When you do any moving mate, try not to put too much pressure on that left leg - it looks like it could give you a bit of gip.

Just PM Cameron and ask him to move it for you. He's the only mod here.
Bad luck about the knee and worse luck about the FZ. They're fantastic when stretched

All the best frazzled hoping for full recovery and all okay. The new scoot looks great, coming into spring is the challenge for you to gently re-acquaint yourself with balance and gear shifting, all the best brother!

Thanks for the good wishes Thof - I think it will take a while given the last three weeks, walking's fine but can't get that knee bent enough - yet. No worries though, I know there are others around dealing with more serious issues than this. I just have to be patient...
