Bandit no go
Hopped on the bandit to duck down to Eden .......no go .... Turn the key all the right noises all the right lights press the button no go. Mmmm possible flat battery.... run start it down the drive nope no good ..... Grab the jump pack nope no good ...... get the next door neighbor help to push it back up the drive into the garage.
Ok what the fuck is wrong with my bike. Couple of calls some rooting around checking this checking that.
Remember my bike is accident damaged from my misadventure into the mud whole
It turns out the clutch switch was full of muck and packed it in so if your bandit don't go a check there first it is a simple piece of wire to short out the terminals and it will start
Geez us I hope this isn't the start of thing to come

Could you have just cleaned the switch? I cleaned the brake light switch on my last bike because it too failed.
Might also pay to check the side stand switch as it might be the next to go.

I popped the cover off and it went all over the place and from the looks of it it's a non serviceable item and plus I reckon a newbies about 20 bucks so I won't be mucking about repairing it for that price

All I needed to do with my last bike was spray some WD40 into a small hole in the switch. It seemed to wash out whatever was causing the problem. Yours might have been past that point after going mud bashing though.

A can of CRC contact cleaner can work wonders, specifically around electrical components.
