Re: modified passenger pegs
The only thing I have notciced after I did this to my 12 was I had to remember that Jan's feet are closer to my heels when i pick my feet up from the ground.

Re: modified passenger pegs
How about covering the rear ( now ) exhaust bracket in black electrical tape . Step back 10 paces and see how it now looks . If you like it spray
it black .I keep picturing a six leged rider .
I like the idea though and the hany-work .

Re: modified passenger pegs
Good modification, almost factory. I like Gus's idea of blacking out the third legs.
I was trying to work out what else you had done and realised the heel guards were also trimmed to make room for the forward postion of the brackets.
IMO and it might just be the photo, but the left heel guard looks as though it has too much meat left on it and would look a little better if it was radialised like the tip of the original.
Never the less well done.

Re: modified passenger pegs
I was forced to cut a few inches of the protections to bring forward the platforms.
The support of the left (repair heel) also serves for the frame of the top cases
