Re: Hello from Ian in Broken Hill, NSW
that does look nifty, and i got some, but is it Ok to show a blue light at the front of a vehicle? i dont want to draw the attention of the police unnecessarily. i am not sure if that complies [although i think i have seen trucks with blue running lights at the front and there are quite a few cars around where they have stuck blue lights on the front]

I'm not sure about the law. they haven't pull me yet, they allways watch when ya ride past, but they allways have.
because the headlight is allways on, the LEDs don't stand out. only when u stand right in front of the bike they standout, as u can see in the photo's
Re: Hello from Ian in Broken Hill, NSW
i have confirmed - u can only display a white running light at the front

Did u get booked by the boys in blue?potatomasher wrote:i have confirmed - u can only display a white running light at the front
Just some photo's of the LEDs at night
Shinny white bit at the front, shinny red bit at the back, apparently it confuses the hell out of people if u do anything else!

no - i sent an email to the RTA - i got some of those blue leds, but they look really bright when on [and really good] - so i might just use them for special occasions. no point in drawing unwanted attention
Re: Hello from Ian in Broken Hill, NSW
We cant turn the head lights off, so can't see a problem with the white light up front thing. rta sucks dog balls
