Braided lines
First topic message reminder :
Does one have to shop over sea's to get braided lines .I dont mind paying a BIT more to shop local and avoid the freight time but not double.

Re: Braided lines
There seems to be more to braided lines than colour .End bits can come in nickel plated ,painted or stainless Ect .
I wanted stainless but ended up with nickel plated (poor mans stainless and no way as good ) no wonder they were cheap .Never mind still quite happy with the Goodridge lines .Just check on what you are getting .

Re: Braided lines
So i sent an email off to HEL regarding my brake lines that have still not arrived yet. He gave me a tracking number.
Entered the tracking number into the postal company website....appears they are ready for dispatch in BRAZIL!
For some reason they have been sent to Brazil instead of here
So a little more waiting i shall do....

Re: Braided lines
well i have got my bike back - the hel lines that were supplied werent right - had to get another made from goodrich[?] for one of them that was too long [which was also annoying on top of the crappy installation job done by the shop i no longer go to]. however i must say the braided lines are good.
Re: Braided lines
Ahh... isn't there some ADR compliance thing with regards to brake lines which renders some OS sourced lines illegal for use on public roads in OZ?

Re: Braided lines
Due to the ridiculous price of the ABS lines, has anyone thought about hitting up the local HEL supplier and asking for group discount pricing???
I'd be keen if the price could be under $200
I'd also only want boring old black with stainless ends

I think we would need a hell of alot of people to get em that price.
So i got a response for the guy. He said if he cant contact then delivery people and get em sent to me, he will make me some new ones and try again.
