If you want to save a bit of time and money, then yes - shop OS
Takes narry but a mo to find what you want on the interweb.
You could always try somewhere like enzed as I think they are now able to to brake lines. Not sure tho

Re: Braided lines
OS freight times are good from US or UK at least. From the US I got a windscreen in 7 days and a rear hugger from the UK in 5 and my Beowulf can a few yrs ago in 7. The only thing with UK freight is its bloody expensive!
Ger the lines from OS Gus and relax knowing you are saving at least 30%

This means if anybody wants 1250 NON ABS red transparent front braided lines, or rear line, i have a set up for sale.

Re: Braided lines
I've just fitted a set of Hel lines to my bike. Got the from here for less than $100 for the 2 line race setup. They also sent a rear line accidently so i got that free They probably have the best price you'll get on ABS lines. I think Cam has ordered some?

Haven't ridden it yet so i'll let you know if they make a difference. I got black lines with black fittings.
PS, Cam is rubbish at ordering online and always ends up with the wrong gear

Re: Braided lines
I took the bike out for a ride this arvo to test out the new brake lines. We have braided lines on the trackbike which work well but I was a bit sceptical about how much of a difference they would make on the road under general braking conditions. Turns out they have made a significant improvement with much better bite and they give progressively better feel the harder you brake. It has removed the sponginess at the lever, especially for short sharp brake applications (ie, panic moments). The rear is seems good although I rarely use it on the road.
The race line setup also looks a bit nicer than the over the mudguard layout and makes it easier the bleed the lines.
A very worthwhile modification for the price and an easy DIY. Highly recommended.

Yeah I'll post some photos, but the front end is disassembled at the moment due to a blown front fork seal. Went out to test the brakes, see fluid leaking and think "oops, didn't do something right". Check and it's an unrelated but very annoying problem.
Should have it back together by tomorrow.

Re: Braided lines
Ive got Wesmoto braided and better pads both wheels. Made a huge difference to the old girl when I got her.
Being 7 year old the OE lines had a bit of give. Ive had Hel lines on trackies and they certainly made a difference at a more frenetic pace. Sometimes the thread on the replacement banjo bolts wont fit due to different pitch so the old banjos may have to be used. Brass washers come with both brands and with the Hel
lines ya get some stickers to. The Wesmoto were about $100 and the Hel for the Kwakas araound $140.
You can pay double that local ifn your patriotic.

I just got off the phone talking to a guy at Hel Performance Brake Lines, in Brighton here in Brissy ( Head Office ). $109:00 front. $54.50 rear. any colour combo. Will be ready in 1-2 days from order. I will go over for the ride and pick them up. Too easy.

I think it is the Aussie head office. When you go to their website the QLD office comes up.

Re: Braided lines
These are some photos of my Hel Braided lines setup. I'm really happy with them, wish I'd put them on 3 years ago . If you remove the reflectors from your front forks, there is a useful little hole to cable tie the lines to. You don't use the front guard crossover point, they run straight to the callipers.
Also note the Black levers I bought from the Chinese Ebay seller. I usually hate Chinese knock-off stuff but these are seriously good quality for $50.

Hel Performance Brake Lines make them to order. So I guess that it is no problem for them to do the ABS ones.
