I've got two, one for each bike.
Saves me doing math in my head (cause I usually get it wrong)

Or replace the 43t rear sprocket for a 40t one and the speedo will be correct.

Re: Healtech Speedohealer
I have one but I can't remember where I bought it from. I fully corrected the error but then backed it off a bit to provide a 2kmph safety margin. Its simple to reprogram so any change of sprockets is easily accommodated. Apart from that, it just sits there unobtrusively doing its business - hence ho hum as stated above. But it also adds the corection to odometer which appears accurate in the first place so now it under-reads by about 4.5% - ie if you change the oil, filter etc a the recommended 6,000kms, you've actually done 6,000kms plus the correction (in my case about 6,270kms). Similarly if you're recording fuel economy after every tank it will reduce by the same corrected margin (making is seem you are getting worse fuel economy than before).

Hey folks. Just got me a Speedohealer and wondering what setting to use for standard gearing. Anyone validated it against GPS for standard gearing and tyre profiles? Cheers

A good question but I'll have to wait until next week to answer it when I can find the paperwork for the healer. I think the answer will be yes but I seem to remember that the healer has more range in one direction than the other - TBC. PS: how is it your bike shows MPH?

I checked my 2008 1250s for speed against a GPS on a 600klm plus trip, just after I bought it. The speedo consistently read about 7+ klm above the GPS value at around 100+kph. On completion of the trip the B1250's odometer read almost 2% above both my relatively new car's odo and a (post trip) google maps trip/distance plot (which were practically the same). The tacho read about 3600rpm at 107 indicated.......the bike had/has standard cogs and tyres (then just a few 1000k's since new).
I installed a SpeedoHealer... just in time (as luck would have it)........for a big ride (almost 2000klm), expecting everything to adjust according to my input values. While the speedo read-outs adjusted as expected (SH-4.5 gives a calc. readout just over 2kph high @100kph), the tacho continues to read the same overstated rpm per true kph, that it did before.!!!.......Cheers

Re: Healtech Speedohealer
I see solomotoparts.com were recommended above. They are a reputable company, however their price is around $US128 plus post, and they currently show only 1 stock.
We have them http://www.amcmotorcycles.com/contents/en-uk/d401.html at $A124.20 retail ( say you're on the forum and they are $112.91, a case of Aus being CHEAPER than the US, even after GST), plus post. $15 for overnight to main centres (and often smaller centres), or less for snail mail.
As of this morning, 15 controllers in stock plus 6-26 of the various harnesses, and another 100 of the controller on order - 1-2 weeks, and this factory is usually spot on with deliveries.
