Re: Healtech Fi Tuner
Do think it makes that much difference. Probably would with a Dyno, but can't afford the Dyno. Without it, my fuel economy is 5.6l/100k sitting on 120kph and as the bike gets more kilometres on it, it's getting better. I have a TRE installed which makes it run a lot smoother. Next is an excorcism on the pair valve system and secondaries, and then the air box.

IMO I'd keep it. If you are changing the things you listed you will need a dyno run and the ability to tune up the fueling.
Simply changing the muffler and adding a high flow air filter was enough to make the carburettor 1200 complain it was too lean.
What map did you try and what gear did you set the TRE to?

Re: fi tuner
Tried all the maps with not much difference between them. Didn't know that the TRE can be set to a certain gear though. All I know is that the one I've got Eliminates timing retard from 1st to 5th gear.
