Greetings and good evening my fellow Banditos. I am Diablo from Aldinga Beach Sowf Oz..My new ride is an '08 1250s purchased with a mere 6000 clicks!!! Stock standard with NO mods!!...ha ha!!...that of course will be duly rectified..!!

Rectum!!? sure did! oh my achin butt....this Mo Fo bike has the nastiest butt busting seat of anything having pretensions to being a tourer I have ever graced my loins with!!  Trumpet fanfare and drum roll Da Da!!  Airhawk to the rescue  flying down from sunny Qld as we speak ....!!!!!

Also this engine purrs..but I want it to growl!!! Watching the mailbox for the arrival of my new IXIL Can from WA....The original muffler is just that ...a bloody monstrous obese party pooper!! ........    that wonderful donk deserves better!!

When i throw my leg over this baby I get so excited I just know I need to take precautions..use protection..employ a means of prophylaxis!!!!  I need to bar up!! Oggies or engine bars...currently scouring the net for posibilities...any suggestions??? Any local Vunderkind Velder types knockin out some decent product that might help me out here?

Anyway I am looking forward to meeting some of the clan for a chin wag and catching up on postings forums, chats and info here...Thanks for having me along for the ride.....Stay Safe...
Diablo Twisted Evil  Very Happy (couldnt find a smiling Devil emoticon so I did the next best thing)

hello & welcome to the forum Diablo ,lots of nice helpful folk here & usually a laugh or three as well .I`m in Morphett vale & when the weather is a bit more predictable hope to organize some kind of ride so SA members ( or anyone else if they`re keen enough to travel ) can meet up with one another to see what we look like in the flesh so to speak . affraid

P.S. I must have a few more callouses on my butt than you I don`t notice the seat too much which is just as well cause i`ve never found my wife too willing to kiss that particular part of my anatomy better !

Hello and Welcome to the forum.
I bought an ixil can, they don't take care of the centre stand so you might need to rig a rubber mount somehow or remove the stand.

PS
anyone interested in a ixil carbon can ? see the post I shall make in for sale section .. soon

Yep 2 wheels you mean we are now officially " Old farts" !!? Laughing I knew there had to be a payoff for wrinkles, ear hair (yeow!!) drifting midriff, drifting mind, enlarged prostate and creaking bones...a discount on our bike insurance!!!!

Hi xpalan,
a Yanka Lad eh? More power to ya! A Bandit raid on the twisties thru Strath or over the Reservoir sounds most therapeutic to me, keep me posted. Smile

Welcome Diablo - you nearly wore me out reading your hello! Very Happy Love to see a happy bandit rider. Heaps of opinions on cans and lots of other stuff here from people with real expertise. I've just been (again) extoling the virtues of a front suspension mod - you'll seriously think you've riden away on a different bike. Can wise, I like the Yoshi R77 carbon (don't mind the titanium either), but it did cost me a fortune when the Ozzie dollar was down and some guys have done heaps better.
