G'Day fellow Bandit people
Just found this forum and the facebook group today. Late last year I bought a black 07 1250S with 50K on it from A1 motorcycles in Ringwood and am very impressed so far. It replaced a BMW R1150RT but I have had heaps of bikes over the past 25 years including Honda VFR's, Kawasaki ZX10, Honda CB900 Boldor, Yamaha RZ500 and so on. I love how smooth these things are and the super fat torque band!
The bike came with a set of GIVI panniers and a 39L top box but the top box was too small so I have replaced it with a 47 litre. I have also added a "Screens for bikes" tinted double bubble screen, some small LED driving lights to improve the appalling hi-beam light and some mirror extenders so I can see more than just my arms
I'm in Melbourne so if any other locals are heading out for a ride let me know.

Greetings GDUB and fellow Victorian. Welcome to the forum, I'm sure it will give you heaps of support as it has me. If you bought your bike in Ringwood you may be close to me in Bayswater. I've tagged a few Bandits in the area but haven't seen any turn up here yet.

It's actually far easier than it used to be. Use the following sequence of buttons:
Host an Image
Select Files
Send All
Insert All
Host an Image
If it doesn't work, it may be that you have to serve a probationary period before you're allowed to post images. 2WA (Admin) will know if that is true or not.

Hi Again GDUB, I'm in Bayswater so we're practically neighbours. Unfortunately I'm old and slow if you're looking for riding partners - you should check out MadMax's last posted day ride through the hills. It was a marathon effort and from the time and distance, very quick.
