Helmet lock Wires
If you too think they are useless, and one would be better than two, and none would
be better again. This is the extraction tool best for the job . Forget the hacksaw
a couple of bends with pliers and they snap off nice and close to the frame .P.O.P

Re: Helmet lock Wires
The inside wire seem like a guide (that fails ) and DOES hook over those plastic hooks on the under side of the seat . I guess that DOES
mean they HELP holding the seat on . Are they needed , i dont think so . Seat is attached front and back ,that enough for me .
At least now i only have to locate the front tab and i get click, click every time from the back .
Am i the only one who found fitting the seat a bit hit or miss ?
I guess now i have to cut off those plastic hooks.

Re: Helmet lock Wires
No real problem on mine... just make sure its all lined up and slides in and snap locks. Getting the helmet on the wire holder is a bit of an effort though sometimes...

Re: Helmet lock Wires
Since ive removed those wires ,the helmet one didnt work on my Arai helmet and the seat goes on MUCH better without the other ones , with NO
ill effect .
I needed a way to secure my helmet .I have a bad time with keys and only like one in the ignition. If i have a key its only a matter of time before
i loose it, so thats out. Combination lock ? no more numbers please .
So i came up with this .Cost $0
I had a surfboard strap which had stainless steel cords in it so you carnt cut it easily .(hacksaw and vice will )
Bolt just needs to be finger tight (if that ) Can be adjusted with more holes .Bolt stays in webbing so wont get lost .If i loose the whole thing ,its no loss
Seat doesnt sit on the bolt head which looks like it would .Can now fit 2 helmets Arai's without swearing at the wires
ill effect .
