Muffler dent.
This is a stainless steel muffler i painted black with wrinkle paint .I managed to put another dent in it.
Bog and sand 80 grit -Bog and sand 120 grit -Bog and sand 240 grit -Spay undercoat and sand 800 grit .
Respray whole exhaust with VHT wrinkle paint The rough matt finish hides imperfection .As long as you dont mind a black exhaust a cheap easy fix .
Better remember to refit spring ,

I'm wondering how long the bog will hold up for, or did you use some sort of high temp bog or something?

Re: Muffler dent.
I wheeled the bike into a shed and rested it on the side stand .In the morning lifted the bike upright and the muffled caught the edge of a timber
crate .I must have wheeled it in on an angle . The bike wasnt even moveing ,thin stainless .That paint is very tough and the muffler doent get that hot .I didnt put the muffler in the oven
this time as i wanted a rougher finish (sun dried ) The oven really bakes it on but the finish is not as good .This paint laughs at paint stripper .Brilliant
for hideing scratches.
Fibreglass bog ,
Dent has been there for ages ,brothers bulb farm shed in Toora ,Vico .Tassie trip i think .
I decided putting plastic in the oven was not my best idea Ewok.
